TS-930S Help needed
Replaced three damaged pots on a TS-930S today but due to the dog, the fascia dropped forward and a green wire became detached. I have a feeling it goes to back of VFO control. Does anyone have any pics of the back of the fascia for reference?
The detached green wire is circled. I have a feeling it goes to solder point arrowed. Anyone help me out on this? |

Re: TS-930S Help needed
In case you don't have it, you can download the 92-page Kenwood TS-930 Service Manual from 'manualslib' at this link, which might help:
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/83...d-Ts-930s.html The 50-page Instruction Manual is at this link: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/35...d-Ts-930s.html Hopefully, another forum member who may have a TS-930S might be able to check the back of their fascia and answer your query. Good luck with it.

Re: TS-930S Help needed
Thank you David. One thing the diagrams lack is the wiring between PCBs. If anyone has or is working on a TS-930s and willing to take pic of back of function control, I'd be very appreciative.

Re: TS-930S Help needed
Did you get this sorted, or are you still needing help with it?

Re: TS-930S Help needed
Not solved no. Checked all the diagrams but they don't cover the harness. Happy to open it up again.
