Default Ferranti Red Transistor Radio

I have a old Ferranti Red Transistor radio circa 1960's
I cannot seem to locate any info on it.
It uses OC71 /45 transistors and looks like a straight forward design.
Audio stage is working but the RF side is not.
Ideally I would like to get hold of a circuit but without model number I am struggling

Hi Phil

Welcome to the forum

It looks like a PT1031 of 1960 vintage.

You can find the service data here:

Cheers

Thanks for that.
I have used them before with a good result.
Just had to try to get the right model!
Thanks

"Them" is Mr Paul Stenning who runs this wonderful forum for us, for free.

So it's well worth supporting him by buying the odd bit of service data, or even the DVD's of everything.

I looks very much like the Dynatron Tourist , nice little set, pre set light program, now radio4 at the max anticlockwise of the tuning dial. Mick.

Yes, Dynatron was in Ekco ownership by then, and curiously though there were quite a few Dynatron portable transistor radios the Tourist was the only one (I think...) to be based on an Ekco/Ferranti model. The PT352 was the Ekco-branded clone of this little set.
