Repairing Walkman WM-AF57
Hi all, recently bought a Walkman wm-af57 and it worked great, however the audio played too slowly. Not realising there was a speed control pot I took it apart and replaced the belt. I then noticed the control pot and adjusted that, however while working with it I accidently broke the flex cable that went to the front controls. I have now soldered some thin coated magnet wire to each end where the flex cable connected and the front controls now work, however the audio is extremely quiet and muffled in one ear. I thought perhaps one of my wires was loose but that doesn't seem to be the problem, though I'm going to try resoldering the looser ones at least once more. Is there any chance that it's something else that's damaged that could be fixed? Thanks in advance
