Default IBM Model 50

Following on from this thread

Can anyone repair this old computer for me? The customer is an elderly lady who is not computer literate and refuses to try and use anything modern.

I'm willing to travel or you're welcome to come to me. I dont have facilities to make up floppy discs.

I’m still trying to get this computer repaired.

It now wont do anything apart from throwing a few characters on the screen.

I’m prepared to take it to someone, to get it repaired, even if it means driving some distance.

The owner is desperate to get it up and running.

Can someone please help me get it working

Members wishing to offer advice on repairing this PC, rather than offering a repair service, should post in this thread:-
