Portable Radio ID
Picked this up yesterday, what make, model is this. Not sure if it's 6v or 9v. Any information, I would be grateful.
Thanks |

I am wondering if it is a kit radio.

Re: Portable Radio ID
Not totally convinced this is a kit,of course I could be wrong.
The label inside makes me think commercial.

Re: Portable Radio ID
It looks more like commercial than kit to me till I looked at your 3rd photo which suggests kit. However I don't remember one like that. Generous size of audio transformers and interesting that the amp and "radio" are separate boards.
You can download 1960s PW magazines from the American site and check the adverts, it will be there if it's a kit. |
