I pulled apart an Ultra 6018 in my youth, I thought it was quite ugly.

I may still have the knobs in a box somewhere, which do look similar, I will try to look this weekend.

Searching for the model number I see that somebody else was after a few last year.

Regards,

SR

These were also used on Ferguson (etc.) unit audio (e.g. amps, receivers) and radiograms of the period.

Like Stuart, I scrapped one of these about 25 years ago and definitely kept the knobs, but I haven't seen them in ages. If they turn up, I'll be in touch.

Nick.

Hello,

A rummage in the shed today has recovered one control knob, I'm sure the others may be lurking deep in a corner or maybe in Dad's garage. It's not bad for 30 years in a box of bits, could do with a clean but it's all there, no chips or scratches.

It does look the same apart from the top is filled with flat black inner rather than a recessed silver finish that your close-up shows. Black inners are shown on the record player picture linked to in the other thread.

My cheap calipers give the diameter of perspex 41mm, 17mm central shaft, 21mm at the narrowest (top) of the knurled surface.

24.7mm total height from shaft mounting to top and 20mm from base of perspex to top.

Looks almost the thing you need. Will reply to your PM.

Regards,

SR
