Another Stereo Amplifier.
Split from this thread:-
https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ad.php?t=59333 -------------------------------------- Gday all, I have talked about it since I got here, so here are a couple of "in progress" pics. Ita also the amp that I discussed in the "soundcard" thread. It needs two 100 ohm 1 watt resistors and the power amp is complete ( he said, and touched wood, his head ) Town is 100 kliks away and in the 10 million resistors I have, I DONT have 2 X 100 R resistors !!!!! theres still some wiring to be done, a DC heater supply ( rectifier, regulator and filter) to be fitted. The four blank holes are the phono stage, which is what the DC supply is for. Joe |

Re: Another Stereo Amplifier.
Very nice. You'll need a reinforced table to support all that ironwork!

Re: Another Stereo Amplifier.
The circuit is plagiarised ( why reinvent the wheel) I changed the valves to suit what I had in stock.
the output transformers I made, the toroids are custom made units, the chassis is also my make when I get the phono stage sorted, I'll publish that too, in fact the phono stage is open to argument cause the whole reason I made this amp is to drive DEAF as a post digital sound cards, well to be honest, I needed a new amp anyway. regards Joe |
