Default Grundig 27" 'proper shape' TV!

This was bought new by my parents in 2003 and must have been one of the last proper shape 4:3 CRT TV's before these silly widescreen things appeared!

It still works perfectly- it's just obsolete! It seems a sin to take a perfectly working TV to the tip, so I thought I'd put it on here just to see if there is any interest in it.
If there isn't, I won't feel so bad in throwing it away!

It's currently on (or in?) the Isle of Wight, but if there is any interest, I can take it up to Essex in a couple of month's time, where collection would be from Great Dunmow.

I can provide pictures or more details if there is any interest. Obviously, it's FOC!

Cheers
Nick

Which sort of tube is in it - Philips 45AX? Any chance of a picture with the back off?

It's actually an A66 tube so must be 26" rather than 27"!
Photo's below as requested.
According to the instruction booklet, the model number is T701021 and the part circuit diagram I have says it uses a CUC5310 chassis.

Cheers

That's a shame, very late RCA PIL perhaps? I'm always looking for good replacements to keep our B&O sets going, but I don't think this will fit.

When I think of the knackered ex rental Thorn 9000's, TX9, 10 & 100 I used to buy for resale in the '80's, A TV like this would have been a dream! To think that it has no value to anyone just seems strange!
It will stay on death row until after Christmas when it's fate will have to be decided.
Thanks for your interest.
All the best
Nick
