AM Pantry Transmitter
Not long ago, I picked up a pantry transmitter. It uses the 6BX6, EF86, and an EZ81 valve. It has the option to switch between LW and MW. It doesn't work at the moment, I will try to draw a schematic of it but might need some help with making it work. I will upload some photos very soon.

Look forward to the circuit!
With those valves, it'll turn out to be a modulated oscillator, probably with screen-grid modulation to the 6BX6 (=EF80). |

It's called "Expanded metal" and most of the DIY sheds have a little section with things like bits of grossly overpriced short lengths of angle iron and other sections, you'll find it there, usually in aluminium.

It's sometimes referred to as 'expamet' and come in all sorts of mesh size, gauge of metal, and sheet size.

The case looks like it is built, at least partly, from "Lektrokit". This was a range of standard metal panels, grilles, etc that could be assembled into neat enclosures for electronics. Sadly no longer available.
