Default Radio 4 documentary on 78s

"In the digital world where music has shrunk to invisible sound files, the wind up gramophone, a metal stylus and a box of heavy aromatic 10 inch discs seem more and more like precious and necessary demonstrations of the reality of things."

Yes, well, all very true (what does the last bit mean?). Stylus? Needle surely! Aromatic? Well... The above is from the BBC Radio 4 website and refers to 78 Revolutions, a documentary looking at the world of shellac records and their devotees today (that'll be us!)

I've not heard this myself and it's only just finished being broadcast as I type, but it sounds interesting and will doubtless be on the i-player at any moment.
