I assume that what looks like a "30" is actually "80"- a common pre-war type with directly-heated 5V cathode. Of US origin but no doubt Philips and many others also made it.

Certainly looks like an 80 - a 5Y3 before they put it on an octal base.
It`s listed in the Mullard Maintenance manual so it was certainly at least badged by Mullard / Philips. |
