Dating a ME8001 transistor
Evening
Can anybody here give me a date for when the ME8001 was in use, they look like the type seen in early 70s radios etc. Any help, thoughts appreciated Thanks Rob |

Re: Dating a ME8001 transistor
Earliest reference I can find is 1969 on google. This is in a transistor data book which the link is dead. The latest reference is in a deprecation list in 1981-1983. Apparently a BC337 is a substitute.

Re: Dating a ME8001 transistor
It appears to be a run of the mill general purpose transistor. Any of the usual suspects should work as subs - BC548, 2N2222 etc.
