Will this Zenith stylus do a Pye 1005
Hello,
Me again, To follow up on a previous post where i had the red button but not the spring, i spotted a zenith stylus which includes a spring, therefore would this type suit the pye 1005? photo attached all advice welcome |

Given that the "Butterfly" cartridge and stylus arrangement has American origins and that this US Zenith stylus bar looks just like it, I would suggest this would fit. There is no other stylus like it.

Hi Edward, Thanks as always For your advice, the only difference between this one and the regular type is that it has no metal outer casing around the styli.See Photo attached but as they are floating styli does it matter?

No, this should push through the centre of the Butterfly cartridge body and you push fit the red knob at the top.

I suspect that the metal frame is intended to protect against damage from excessive downforce.
