Default Roberts RIC2 battery compartment

Having recently aquired my first vintage Roberts Radio I would like to take the battery out before corrosion starts at the terminals. Can anybody tell me how to open the RIC 2 without damaging the case ?

Well , everybody has to start somewhere

Hello, and welcome to the forum. To open put finger in hole and slide the bottom sideways, then the other end should lift out. The circuit is available top right of this page £1.99.

John.
