Default Wanted - Someone to restuff 4 caps for me please

Hey guys,

I have tried to do this but I keep making an absolute cock up of it, and with this radio I don't want the cases damaged.

These are from the Nazi radio VE 301 Dyn. I have the 4 caps removed and will pay anything required to cover the replacement of the caps and the refilling with tar etc...

Cheers & Beers

Courtney

If you let me have a photo of the originals I'll have a look and see if I could do a original looking job on them for you.

Would need to know what sort of cap you want and the voltage rating, eg. polyester film, polystyrene film etc.

I have managed to restuff many different types over the years, wax, tar, metal cased etc.

Sam.

Hi Sam,

They are Tar filled with the values on them.

Here's three pics of them.

Some would appear to be electrolytics or at least polarised, or is it just the outer foil markings?

They look easy to restuff, they could be finished with tar ends or black silicone which would look the same. Either melted out or drilled through.
Lead length could be whatever you want.

Voltage ratings seem high, what positions are they in the set with what HT?
Smoothing, reservoir, decoupling?

One is HT and yes two are electrolytics. Move this to PM and we can arrange something
