Default Pye A200 Linear Amp T/R Switching

Hi folks

Playing around with an A200 amp at the mo. I used it with my Trio TR900 successfully but now I'm planning to use it on my Yaesu FT-736 on FT8. This is to save the 736 running flat out.

I read a while back on the net somewhere a method to hard switch the transmit / receive rather than relying on the RF sense. Problem is, I now cannot find that source.

I know I don't really need this for FT8, but I'll also use it on SSB. The relay chatter was a pest with this amp, and when fitting delay caps as per Chris Loreks book the delay was either too little or to much for me!

Anyone know of this mod?

Cheers
