Default Forum eBay Rules

1. Do not use euphemisms for eBay. Euphemisms include "well known auction site", "the auction site", "FleaBay" and "ePay".

2. Do not promote your own eBay auctions in the forums.

3. Do not post links to eBay items except when responding to a wanted ad.

4. Do not discuss eBay listings or sellers in the forums.

Posts found to be in breach of these rules will be deleted even if they've received replies. Persistent offenders may be banned or have their posting restricted.

For an explanation as to why these rules are necessary see this thread:-

It seems no matter how often we bump eBay rules threads many established members still fall foul of the rules.
A post was deleted today for falling foul of rule 1 and 2.

Cheers

Another otherwise good post deleted for using a euphemism. That's around 8 in the last week.

Seems many members don't even realise their carefully crafted posts have gone.

We won't edit and it seems in the main to be established members.

Cheers

A lot of eBay rule transgressions recently and again not by new members.

Its depressing that we keep having to bump this thread.

Cheers
