Philips fm1100 with extended board over control board
I have an fm1100 with an extra board in an extended cover over the control board. This board was used to enable a cross band repeater to be made up by using a similar radio but on UHF. Does anyone have any information on these spcial boards? I was thinking if I could use this board to interface a microphone as I don't have the standard mic. I know that these radios are rare and this system was used before the repeater stack system was introduced so any information would be appreciated.

Is there an AT or similar number on your board Dave?

Re: Philips fm1100 with extended board over control board
Hello Martin, there is no AT number on my board just a couple of 3513 numbers. 3513 560 00261 and 3513 968 00151.
I tried to attach a photo of the board on this reply but I could not. Could you PM me your email address please so that I might send the photo in a private email. Thanks, Dave GI8LCJ Last edited by Station X; 3rd Apr 2023 at 5:42 pm. Reason: Email address removed to comply with forum rules. |

Re: Philips fm1100 with extended board over control board
After a bit of searching I have found the FM1100 mobile repeater info I have here Dave. Looks like it’s the stack version though. 3513 568 0005, 3513 568 0007 and 3513 568 0029, which are mods to the 3513 560 00181 PCB. Also a sheet detailing the mod to add CTCSS to the stack, 3513 568 3086, which references the 3513 568 30301 in the text.
You are welcome to a copy if it helps. Cheers, Martin G4NCE |

Re: Philips fm1100 with extended board over control board
Ok Martin as none of those numbers you have match the ones on my board don't bother using up your time. As I said these units were a very early method of creating a repeater. I will have a poke arround myself with what I have. As I have a 2955A test set I should be able to see the tx level and possibly use a generic microphone. It will keep me out of mischief for a while lol.
Thanks Dave GI8LCJ |
