Default Irme mizar 70

Can anyone point me to where a manual could be found for this Italian marine radio. The TX has 3 6GW6 valves with transistor inverter and modulation , RX has 2 12v car radio valves OC73/45 transistor,

What a beautifully made thing!!!. I can see why you need a circuit.

It looks a little bit "got at". There seem to be a clutch of later electrolytic capacitors and those "fuse wire?" anode top cap connections may be useful protection but don't "fit" with the construction standard of the rest of the set.

6GW6 seems to be a "sweep toob" or TV line output valve often used as RF PA in cost conscious moderate power TX designs.

There's a nice collection of earlyish high power stud mount Ge(?) power transistors on the rear panel.

Is that a WS19 power supply rotary relay I see in the first picture?

Hi,

I did a Google search for this receiver and wonder if you've considered this forum:-

It's all in Italian of course but with Google Translate you could make a request for help? I've had good results with similar sites in France, including the loan of a manual to copy.

Cheers

Roger

That's a rather nice looking and well constructed set.

Thanks for the information on the Italian site will try there, as for the relay you could be right in WS19, this switches the 24v supply to the HT power stage. Hope to use the set on 160m and 80m when finished.
