KW Electronics and Ten-Tec.
A few weeks back, I acquired a Ten-Tec Corsair-II transceiver and its associated mains power-supply from a fellow forumeer; in hooking them up [and using them to work Brazil/Argentina on 28MHz] I was intrigued to see a sticker on the underside of the power-supply implying that it was supplied by KW Electronics.
Yes, the same operation responsible for the KW2000 and similar radios. So, I ponder, what was the 1970s/80s business relationship between Rowley Shears G8KW, KW Electronics and Ten-Tec?

Re: KW Electronics and Ten-Tec.
There is a short mention of G8KW reviving KW Electronics as a dealership for other makes in this article.

Re: KW Electronics and Ten-Tec.
Thanks for that link, it filled in a lot of the background that I had forgotten.
(it also has a good reduce on the AR88 if you go back up their index). KW were widely respected in the 50s and 60s , but given the coming of the Japanese global ham-radio brands in the 60s and 70s I can totally understand the need of the likes of KW to pal up with another company with bigger range/reach in order to compete.
