Default Halson radio

This is my latest acquisition a bit of a wreck well a lot of a wreck, after fitting a new rectifier and 25L6 the set worked just, so I replaced all the usual capacitors, bridged one of the smoothing caps temporary, had it working OK but I noticed a what sounded like a noisy resistor, shorting the 220k anode load to deck cured the problem but the noise was still there after replacing the 220k, to cut a long story short, the fault was a 500pF, RF filtering capacitor leaky, nice one.
