Just thought that I would add my thanks to Ben Dijkman for making such a splendid job of making a Philips logo badge emblem for my U.K Philips 371A radio. It has a different colour appearance to that of the usual Dutch Philips radios. Well done, Ben!

Ben was the only one that gave me some positive help in gaining this Philips emblem, and nobody else seemed to know what my requirements were! As I said, it is not a Dutch Philips model (371A), anyway it is on the radio now, and it looks great!

Many thanks to Glyn (Welsh Anorak) for the generous FOC Grundig TK 20 R2R which safely arrived yesterday and was well packaged. As described looks to be in pretty good condition.

I’d like to thank David G4EBT for thinking of me as a new home for two virtually brand-new wind-up radios, and for generously sending me both sets for the price of postage. Thank you David, they’ll be looked after and I shall enjoy using them

Very many thanks to duncanlowe for the excellently packaged gift of an assortment of Motorola PMR 446 gear . No longer "out of earshot" and, as a result, anxiety-levels are much reduced !

I noticed that I haven’t put anything into this thread recently and I’m embarrassed to see how many members are owed my thanks. So I’ve put together this list of those who have helped me in some way, often by supplying a requested item. Therefore these kind people are due my appreciation, thanks very much!

Many thanks to Andrew ('freespace') for the Grundig TK12 tape recorder. It's an interesting example of a class of machine that I didn't have in my collection and I'll get a lot of enoyment out of investigating it.

Many thanks to Bill (AC/HL) for the book RSGB handbook 2nd edition.
A fascinating insight into the 'non-transmitting' era of WWII.

Really appreciated,
David.

Many thanks to Colin ( Vintage _ 8bit ) for the STK amp modules that he sent me. These will keep a vintage stack unit going for a good few years yet
