Re: SCART sockets
Hi to All,
Hi Patrickgnl, Well good for England ! that Bridgend survived. An interesting lesson of experience in technology matters is that who retains mastery of the basic tech, survives. If you look at Sony today, they invested heavily in CCD then CMOS image sensors. They supply today nearly half the world's sensors, from cheap surveillance cameras all the way up to their CineAlta 4K (8K ?) digital cinema cameras. If they had done the same with their proprietary OLED top-Emission screens, they could have ruled the roost like they did with the Trinitron. What a shame... Best Regards jhalphen |

Re: SCART sockets
It's the shares that matter, not the products. You can bet they're making money from OLED, or it's successor(s). Philips did the same, business has evolved, even if the SCART hasn't.
