Default Hmv 5612

Hello
I rescued a set from my neighbours' house clearance but I can't find a schematic. It looks just like a HMV 1121 on the outside. The 5612 is an export model from the looks of it. I've tried to use the 1121 (trader service sheet 987) but there are some significant differences in the capacitors used from my investigations so far. Sorry for my ignorance (this is only my 3rd set) Any chance anyone has a schematic for the 5612?
Alternatively I would be grateful for any hints on the value of this black capacitor (2nd from left) in this photo? It seems different from all the others - could it be an electrolytic?

Anything like the 5412 per chance? That's the only similar model number I can find in the VRSD.

Thanks for that.
There are some similarities but it's not close enough for me to work out what is what in terms of the schematic.
The radio museum site has the 5612 as a export variation of the 1121 but it is quite different under the chassis.

Any help gratefully received - otherwise I think I will have to guess some capacitor values...

Hi.

One possible suggestion is to see if there's a comparable Marconiphone export model with the same valve line up.
HMV and Marconiphone were brand names used by EMI before they were sold to British Radio Corporation (BRC) in about 1957.

Regards,
Symon

There was a HMV 5613 and 5614 that used valve types X18, W17 (2 of), ZD17 and N18 (2 of in push-pull). I have service data for both and could scan if not otherwise available.

Thank you for your help.

The valve lineup is AZ31, DH14?, N151(x2) and Z77 so I don't think it is the same sadly - I am really stumped.
