Default 1938 Philco Baby Grand?

I have a Philco radio from the late 30s which is similar in some respects to the model 583. The 583 is a Medium and Long wave set having the conventional AC/DC five valve superhet circuit. My radio has six valves plus a barretter. The radio has an RF stage and covers short as well as medium and long waves. The published data on other 'Baby Grand' models show no RF stage.
Does anybody recognise the radio and even have a circuit diagram? Philco did not make it easy to identify waxed paper caps, as they just used a Philco part number. I have identified some from a Philco site, but not all the numbers correspond. The caps all look awful, with exuding wax, and actual values would be nice. The 583 circuit gives a lot of clues, but not, of course on the RF stage.
