Default Re: Bentima Mantle Clock With 'Perivale' Movement Help

I've taken the clock apart again to better look at any possible bushing wear. The rear plate is fine while the front plate has bushing wear.

The bottom right marked bushing is worn enough to stop the chime train from working. The other marked bushes look OK, though a bit worn.

Is there a DIY method of re-bushing the movement or do I need special equipment?

As this is possibly a non-forum item, please PM me and I'll give you some advice in the morning.

Hello Mike,

I sent a PM on Monday night. Did you not receive it? I have not received a PM or Email from you. Maybe a forum hiccup?

Here it is in my 'sent' folder.

As there seems to be a glitch somewhere where OTF96 didn't get my email and there's nothing in my Sent Folder on here, I've restarted a PM to continue it.
