Default Ekco TC335 spotted in Oxfordshire

I was in Haines salvage yard at Challow near Wantage, Oxfordshire earlier today and spotted an Ekco TC335 console TV for sale in their furniture shed. It looked in good condition to me, some cracking of the varnish, and complete with back. It was being sold for £24.

It's of no interest to me but wondered if It might be of interest to other members.

Please note I have no connection with Haines.

Best rgds. Stef.

Hello Stef.
I have a great affection for these sets I already have a nice example. When I saw your post last week I was very tempted. Family duties intervened but yesterday I rang Haynes on the off chance that it was still for sale it was!
So on the promise of food & drink persuaded SHMBO that Berkshire wasn't far from East Kent so off we went. After a 240 mile round trip it now sits in my shed!
In true John W style I snipped the mains filter cap & plugged it in.
Weak sound & a bright cramped raster appeared. So it looks promising.
Many Thanks for taking the trouble to post about it.
Regards Steve.
