Default BVWS mag digitised - which is the last one?

Up to what volume of the BVWS magazine has been digitised? I was just checking what I have in digital form and it only goes to the first mag Volume 21. I got this and all the previous ones from the BVWS CD.

Are more planned if that is still the case?

Volumes 1 to 42 are available to download as PDF files.

The BVWS Webmaster (Paul Stenning), reported in AGM Minutes of March 23rd, published in the Summer Bulletin, that scanning of Bulletin from 2006 - 2017 was almost complete. The intention is to keep this resource behind by 5 - 6 years at any point. So it is now as up to date as it's going to be. Paul reported that work had started on a new website with a more modern look and better access from portable devices.

All credit to Paul that he served on the BVWS Committee for 21 years until this year, and though he didn't stand for re-election he will continue as webmaster, (and running this forum, of which he is the owner), and of course, having a living to make.

All the Bulletins designed by the previous editor (Carl Glover, up to volume 41 number 3) are now scanned and on the website. Those designed by the current editor (Alex Hewitt) are supplied as PDF files directly from his software and the first few of these (up to volume 42 number 4) are also on the website.

On the website we will be 5-6 years behind, so another year of Bulletins will be added early next year, and we will continue this way each year.

So currently up to volume 42 (2017) are on the website, and volumes 43 (2018) to 48 (2023) aren't yet.

It was agreed by the committee that because the Bulletins are a member benefit it is correct that non-members have to wait a few years to see them. The period was chosen allowing for three year memberships.

That website is seriously overdue a major revamp - even more-so than the BVWS one (but BVWS will be first).

Thanks guys, I've found the latest download list on the BVWS site and downloaded the edition that I needed. Cheers.
