Drawing Sheet Template! - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Hi!

Can any Member give some good suggested drawing layout templates for A3 and A4 paper, in Portrait & Landscape Formats, please, or point me in the direction of a website that gives these?

I'll have quite a number of Circuit Diagrams to draft over the coming months and these will all need a good quality border & title block with:–

A) Name of equipment;
B) Diagram title;
C) Date;
D) Drawing number;
E) Page no. & page count;
F) Name of draughtsman;
G) A block for standard notes common to all diagrams.

What's the best recommended distance from the paper edges to the drawing outer border?

A standard sheet from Libre Cad has all these things built in.

Are you drafting manually on paper, or using a computer?

Most electronic CAD programs that I've used have included something like this as a sample drawing.
