Default Scratches on inside of U245 dial

Hello, Can anyone suggest anything I could put on scratches on the inside of plastic dial to keep them from being seen through from the outside. Dial is clear where scratches are. All markings are ok. Thank you. Dick.

I can't see anything you can do about this. Any attempt to polish out the scratches will damage the tuning scale printing.

The U245 is quite a common radio with a bakelite case which is often smashed, so you may be able to find an undamaged tuning scale.

It's a bit of a puzzle as to why the dial became scratched. There's nothing to scratch it on the inside.
