Default Automat metal rectifiers

Reference has been made to these devices, both with plates and contact cooled

Factory at Moorside Road, Swinton, Manchester (possible link to Ferranti?)
Type no. E.K. might well have been made for Ekco.
Noted for reliabilty and longevity.
