Default Roberts R606 MB Parts

I have the following parts from a scrap Roberts R606MB.
FOC + cost of postage.

Handle
Tuning Scale
Rear metal grill
Battery holder
A few knobs
Wooden battery cover with turntable
Aerial

It might be after Christmas before I get them in the post but I would aim to do it next week if anyone needs them.

John

Hi John,

Please put me in the hat.

I've got an R606 missing a handle, knobs and turntable so these parts would be very useful.

Cheers,

Jerry

Hat established. I'll leave it a couple of days and then see if there's any more.

Pilot Mariner. What parts are you missing?

If you have it, I'd suggest keeping the volume pot John, even Roberts dont have an exact replacement... as I found to my cost (£8 +p&p for a pot that needs adapting to fit... )

Thanks for that. It had had a big hit in the speaker area. As if it had been hit with a hammer or dropped on to something so the volume pot may well be ok. It's in a box of stuff waiting to go to the tip! I'll look at it before it goes. I was breaking it up to recycle the various parts and thought I'd keep what you often see asked for. Knobs, aerials, tuning scales and so on.

Cosmetically I'm just missing a chrome strip on the speaker grill. Looks like other members have a greater need than me so I would be willing to be removed from the hat. Maybe the winner could send me the strip if not required. Mine also has a faulty ceramic resonator. If that's available.

Ok, the chrome strip is unlikely but I'll look at the ceramic resonator tomorrow. The case is damaged and beyond restoration.

The chrome strip is a non-starter and I'm not sure where the ceramic resonator is located. I could send you the whole PCB if you like?

It's the little yellow square component, but the whole PCB would be very welcome thanks.

Ok, that seems to be the end of any interest in these Roberts parts so I'll distribute them as follows:

1. DigitalNoMore
Handle
Knobs
Turntable.

2. A member who PM'ed me.
Tuning Scale
Rear grille
Battery holder
Aerial

3. Pilot Mariner
PCB
Anything else I can salvage from it!

Hope that's OK. I'll pack them up next week so please you could PM me your addresses.

Post will just be at cost with Royal Mail when I've packed, weighed and measured them.

John
