Default Looking for repairs. Murphy U502 and Portadyne radios.

*Think* I've posted this in correct place but please advise otherwise.

Have a couple of Valve radios both of which (did) work but then stopped, looking for someone to examine them and hopefully repair.

I can package up and post them out if not vaguely local to me to drop off

Thank you

Richard

The Murphy radio was working most recently, but following a large bang!
stopped playing,

The Portadyne I think was working up until the volume control was drowned out by rasping noise that was itself louder than broadcast
so was turned off.

I would be happy to look at these for you, but do have a bit of a queue first. I am approx 1.5 hours from you, or of course you could send, albeit risky with the Bakelite set.

Maybe someone else would be quicker, but I have sent you a PM in case you are interested.
