Could I put my name down for #036 Racal 9008M Modulation Meter (Not working).
I could collect from Newbury (or further south if FCS could help.)

Hi,
Can I go into the hat please for the DX394 receiver #002 and ATU #007?
Since I am in Rotherham collection from Pontefract please.

BTW I am close to J33 on the M1 and home most of the time if I can assist anyone else with obtaining their items.

Many thanks,

Peter

Hi Dennis

Sad job. But could I go in the hat for No33, the General radio decade cap box please?

Didcot is perfect for me, as I live 5 miles away.

Thanks

Could I be considered for the mains isolating transformer (047)?

Also the soldering iron (052) although the iron is less important if anyone else needs it.

I can collect from Didcot or wherever in Oxfordshire.

Thanks to all for the replies to this thread. They were very much appreciated.

I have sent out PMs to all who have requested items and also drawn lots when there has been more than one member requesting an item.

Apologies if you didn't get a PM and had asked and didn't get anything or only got certain items. It's not until you have to do this sort of thing that you realise how time consuming it can be and that you can't please everyone either.

Please bear with me. I can only gain access to the my Friends house at certain times so it will take a while to get things in place for you all to collect. I'll let the relevant members know when the items are ready for collection.

My Silent Key Friend's Son asked me to convey the following:-

" I'm really touched at the amount of interest in Dad's stuff. I wonder if you could post on the forum for me telling everyone how much I appreciate the interest they have all shown in the material, and how much I hope they will get as much pleasure out of the pieces when they own them as my Dad did when he used/made them."

One thing it has made me seriously think about is passing on some of my own kit to save my offspring a similar problem or at least trying to put a sensible value on major items and identifying odd items that look worthless but are in reality quite rare or have some significant value.

Kind Regards

Denis

Thanks Jeremy for the kind words. It is appreciated.

I've had a couple of PMs asking me what, from the original list, is still available. Here is a revised Spreadsheet.

Unsold significant items will be sold elsewhere in a couple of weeks.

If you want a Picture of anything then I'll try and get one for you but please only items you are genuinely interested in.

In the coming weeks there will be more items. It's just getting the opportunity to sort it out.

Thanks as ever for the interest.

Regards

Denis

Denis, it would help people (including me) if you could post a photo of all the speakers, with something to show scale like a CD or LP. There's no need for lots of individual pics, just one showing them all lined up.

Thanks for the note Paul.

I received some Photos a few days ago of items that were stored in the house and fortunately there are PICs of the Loudspeakers. I did put dimensions on the listings.
Attached are the PICs. Sorry about the dust they had been stored quite a while!

Item 016 = P1030872.JPG
Item 017 = P1030873.JPG
Item 019 = P1030878.JPG
Item 021 = P1030877.JPG
Item 022 = P1030882.JPG

Click on the images to see the file details.

Martin
As the Sale is effectively as good as done and there are still items left that others have already had quite a while to decide if they want, I think Item 046 the AVO8 can be yours. I'll arrange to get it to GrimJosef in Didcot.

To all those who have sent me a PM, I'll reply to all 15 or so as soon as I get concrete info to give you all. Please bear with me.

Thanks

Regards

Denis

I have finally got the last bits of the distribution puzzle in place.
Graeme (Grim Josef) kindly offered to store items for collection from Didcot. Thanks Graeme.
All being well I will be delivering these items late Saturday afternoon the 28th Mar.
All you need to do then is to make contact with Graeme to arrange collection.

I think that pretty much covers all the items apart from Moderator Paul with whom I'll make the arrangements separately.

I apologise for the long delay in getting this sorted as there have been difficulties but hopefully you'll be happy with the items.

Regards

Denis.
