2 x JVC BR8600E VHS VCR Video Recorders

Two pro VHS recorders from the mid-1980s are about to head for the scrap pile, but in case anyone wants to save them:

Machine no.1; powers up, takes in a tape, winds and rewinds but when put into PLAY it does not lace up (spins the drum and starts to lace up but cannot complete it and cancels the operation)

machine no.2: powers up, takes in a tape but none of the motor functions work

no remotes (not sure these machines had IR remotes anyway - more likely a wired controller)

cosmetic condition dusty but otherwise not bad
