Sony KV M-1441U, a manual I looked at was printed in 1995 if that's any help.

Thanks, so 1995 or earlier? Is the manual you have for that model only?

Aidan.

Philips 14CN3001/05B

The Philips NC3 chassis above was introduced in about 1988.

The proline looks like it may be a rebadged Thomson TX92, ICC8 or similar, judging by the pics of remotes online. In which case, mid 90s.
Have you checked the old Argos and Tandy catalogues online? I have found these invaluable for dating consumer electronics.

Think the bush Bush 1473T was intro'd in 1998 with the 11AK08 chassis, it had a long run considering ive seen these fitted with 11AK36 chassis also. I have an original 11AK08 chassis 1473T. Works great. Will pop the back off one of the days and see if theres a date sticker inside

Sounds about right as I purchased a 1478T in around mid-1998 from Argos. The one that looked like a silver divers/ space helmet (other colours were available!).

There was an iteration a few years later that featured dial-up Internet capability, with IIRC a parallel printer port on the back!

Attached pic of Bush 1433 in white, from 1997 Tandy catalogue. Not sure whether this had the Vestel or ONWA chassis.

@ ben, that is a Vestal chassis looking at the remote control, the Onwa chassis models had very different style remotes.

As previously mentioned the same model number used at least two different Vestal chassis, the remote controls although very similar in appearance were unique to each chassis and not compatible between the two, IIRC the main visual differences were with the volume control buttons.
This led to problems when ordering replacement remote controls and lopts for this model.

It's coming back to me now!
The ONWA sets (or some of them) used a rather nondescript black remote with a circular rocker switch towards the top for vol/ prog.

The 11AK08 (sold in Spain as ANSONIC 1498V, BLUESKY BS3799) was often found in rounded profile cabinet sets that had a sort of moulded handle in the top which meant they were convenient to carry but damn awkward /impossible to stack! This cabinet was also used by Beko. Can't recall which remote they used, the code number was in the battery compartment.

The 11AK36 used the '1940' code remote, which looked very similar, that I do know.

The 11AK19 remote was slightly different again, I think that had cursor keys as well as the vol/prog up down. This was essential to use the menus.
