My thanks to Ed Dinning for letting me purchase two pattern Generators from him, one Philips PM5508 to research and design a Circle Pattern Unit, and the Manor Supplies Mark IV – the Manor Supplies unit swallowed up.nearly all my 1978/1979 Student Grant trying to get it working!

Both now received safely and research work now in progress!

Many thanks to Panrock for showing me round his prewar tv repair, an absolute privilege to see, and amazing that at nearly ninety years old it can still function fairly well.

Just acquired another two signal generators today and boy oh boy are these ones boat anchors They didn't look that big in the pictures... If there was a Mrs Jez I'd be in serious trouble

Anyway big thanks to John "Wheelyjon" for donating them FOC, encouraging me to give it a go with the FCS and for bringing them up as far as Wakefield while going on holiday.... where he transferred them plus some gear for Martyn "ICTtutor", thanks Martyn for arranging that. And last but not least thanks to David "Radio Wrangler" for taking them from Wakefield to my door today.

It's amazing what this site and its wonderful members can achieve

Cheers,
Jez

Thank you to Ed Dinning, for the Space Invaders and Football games. Our 7-yr old loves them!

(I got distracted with an impending holiday, so apologies for the belated thank you)

A massive thanks to Mikey66. Met today to collect a Ferguson Videostar. What a nice chap! He realised my love for VCRs and very generously passed on a collection of Videostar and Hitachi VCRs - I am very grateful!

One of the nice things about this forum is meeting great people
