So that you may have a better idea as to how many tea bags are going to be required, I'm informing you of my intention to attend. Many thanks, David.

I have just returned from this event. Please make the effort to go and take a look if you can make it before 5pm as the quantity and mix of items is unbelievable. It will be tragic to see everything skipped at the end of the day.
(Tea/Coffee and sandwiches supplied too!)

Regards,

Phil

Unfortunately I'm still tied up here and realistically not going to make it. Gutted there's stuff I saw on the photos I would definitely have been interested in

I'm sure I could have filled a van, if it weren't so distant! Probably just as well...

Had a wonderful day today, so good that after collecting a radio from Bren, EF80TVVALVE (thanks mate!) I returned to Belper for some more! Very, very pleased with my goodies.

Thanks Courtney for a really great day and for allowing us to rummage and create you even more mess! After all this the ham roll and tea was really welcome as well.

A true spirit of the forum meeting, thanks again.

Good evening,
Had a good day here, Plenty of items of all sorts to keep you busy for the day!
I came back with quite a few items of test equipment, valves and instrument CRT's and various components.

The mind boggles over the amount of things that were here. Boxes of radio ham type crystals in the loft almost too heavy to lift and there was an oscilloscope and power supplies in the bath!! You could have easily started a good size radio fair with this amount!

Thank you Courtney for making this possible, It is very much appreciated and I hope that much of the useful items claimed here today will have another life. It would have been a real shame to have scrapped many of these items.

Hopefully as I only live around the corner, anything else worth saving can come here for the time being.

Thank you, Chris, for that generous offer to give temporary sanctuary to useful items to save them from becoming landfill.

Good evening,
Hopefully I can save as much of the useful equipment as I can store. It isn't the case of how many items are here, but just the sheer "multi-tonnage" of equipment here.

I think that with time constraints ECT. we would need to be a bit ruthless here and save all that would be of a benefit to people here. There is plenty of specialized MOD and test equipment here, much of it very nicely made and would have cost a fortune but except as individual parts not much use for anything else and would need to be skipped.

I’d also like to come please, just dependant on getting a day pass from the boss! It’s summer school holidays at the moment so 2 grandchildren all day, five days a week to look after. Actually, I love every minute, makes up for being at work when my own kids were small.

It's just not working out for me, I'm away until Thursday. If Christopher or someone else can hang on to the bits I'm interested in I can come down any day next week
