After some discussion, it's been decided that fixed house wiring is OT for the forum.

It is a minefield of rules, legislation, and liability. There is a heritage of places where obsolete rules still apply, There is a variety of supply configurations as well.

As if that is not enough, there is the consideration of when the property is later sold.

It is an area where any advice, for the protection of both parties, needs to be backed up by professional qualification and liability insurance,.
