These are dated 1983-4 and all measure between 250-253 uF and are the type with the ceramic terminal base. I bought them for a project but never got a round tuit!
![]() I'll make sure these are slowly discharged and wire the terminals together before packing in bubble wrap. They weigh one kilo each ![]() They're in very good condition and I'm asking £25 each plus p+p. I'll run a hat until Saturday morning and post them on Monday. Thanks for looking.

Hmm, I thought paper in oil capacitors would have attracted more attention!
Price now reduced to £15 each plus p and p.

Not being into the Audio thing myself, I suspect that the voltage rating is too low for classical valve power amps and Paper in oil has never been a thing for transistor amps.
Just my take, I'm sure the audio boys will know. Cheers Mike T

Folk here are likely to be clearer-eyed as regards this type of component than in some other circles, and yes, the voltage capability is too low for typical valve applications, the capacity too low for typical semiconductor applications. With paper-in-oil types, lower-quality oil types (vegetable/mineral) tend to result in high electrical leakage with age, higher-quality oils (synthetic PCBs) last up better but are insidiously hazardous and people understandably fight shy of them. Difficult to have the cake and eat it! I suppose someone might want to use them in loudspeaker crossovers or HF drives for LV motors.

Looks like I'll have to drop the price!
They cost me twenty five quid at a local auction so how about £7 each?
