Hi Adrian, plenty of IV transformers about, commonest ratio was 3:1, but many of them will need rewinding as one of the windings will be O/C.
Not difficult to do, but tedious due to the 1000's of turns needed.

Typically the speakers were a few thousand ohm impedance; not that the DC resistance would only be a few 100 ohms.
A modern speaker with a suitable output transformer works well
