Dave Moll will be there I see and Adrian [the man from Darwen] who gave me some useful bits and pieces [collected by my brother Phil but I've not even seen them yet]. He's been taking me over to Golborne for a long time now, even though his interest is largely non-technical! I think your children will enjoy the experience Christopher, especially if there is a b+w TV demonstration. I hope it all goes really well for visitors and the BVWS

PS Don't forget the name badges, it really is worth it. I've had people standing next to me saying "Oh it's you". [Usually on a positive basis!]
Thanks but I've not actually made it to Ramsbottom yet! You must be thinking of someone else.

I'll try to make it in November, I'm going on holiday after Easter & need my weekends to get everything ready.

Conversely, I've had instances where I've only discovered after the event that someone I wished to speak to was there, but I failed to find them in the absence of a name badge.

It's worth including profile name if different from actual name.

Seconded, Dave.
I've often looked at the register to see someone is there, but cannot then locate them

Looking like you're the winner of the "most distant attendee" Trevor!

Any sort of badge, even just a sticky label, would be great for me as my memory isn't what it used to be (don't ask me how I know!). That way l won't be stood next to you looking ignorant.

Unfortunately I surprised a chap with a large camera, crying out "Hamish"! It wasn't. Thanks once again go to the organisers and helpers for making a great day out in the north.

It was nice to meet up with John and Steve, Keith, Adrian, Gabriel and Trevor, hope to see you all again in November.

Another successful Bring & Buy, resulting in £76 being passed to the BVWTM.

Sorry to miss you Ken on Sunday, I never thought there would be another with large camera!

I met up with one or two folk and a very pleasant few hours spent.

Possibly this was the other person?

I’m a bit late to the party but I had a great time at Goldborne on Sunday. For the first time I had a table which was actually great to thin down some of my collection. For the first time ever managed to sell more than I bought. This was a great relief to the wife when I arrived home. But having a table was a much better way of meeting people and I enjoyed chatting and making some new friends. It’s great to put some names to the faces on the forum. Definitely think I will do this again and maybe travel further to some of the other events around the country. Also a few people new me from my little YouTube channel so again really nice to meet you.

Not sure if anyone has any pictures of the meet and the stuff for sale but some pictures for the people that didn’t make it would be nice

Thanks regards Chris

Non members are most welcome to make a visit...

Great enjoyable event as always. Good to see everyone. Big thanks to Mike & Jim for bringing so much stuff up in the trusty ol' Transit! Big thanks to Mark Ryding for organising, big thanks to Dave Moll for running the B&B - great result!

Looking forwards to our next meet there on 30th October.
