Re: The next workshop!
Hmm, tricky!
Right lets throw the dates I am available for in the pot (of course if you all want to carry on without me......) May 15th, June 18th July 17th onwards.... Anyone have objections to these dates? As for location, the numbers are plain to see - the next one will be at Cottered If anyone wants a workshop at Dulwich there would have to be limited numbers, as Ian mentions there isn't room for 20 of us to turn up at once! I made a small error in costings on the last event - so any futute events at Cottered will cost £17.50 a head - sorry about this, but as much as I enjoy the hobby I cant fund everyone else! Cheers Sean

Re: The next workshop!
It is BVWS Wootton Bassett on 3rd July, so I'd suggest avoiding that weekend (I'll certainly be at WB).
I am probably busy the weekend 9th/10th July, but apart from that I'm currently free on the other dates suggested. |

Re: The next workshop!
3rd July is VHF National Field Day (an amateur radio contest) With luck I will be out on a hill top somewhere microwaving birds in mid flight.....

Re: The next workshop!
May is fine for me but the suggested June/July dates are out unfortunately.
However, I promise I won't bring that Sobell set and may hold off fixing the Ultra until the workshop if I can make it on the agreed date. I'll bring a couple of other sets as well. I do hope to post a picture of the Sobell working before then of course. Brian |

Re: The next workshop!
I would prefer May 15th, apart from the fact that I may be busy in June, I really don't know that I can wait that long for another workshop!
Seriously, May would be good because its approx 3 months after the first one. |

Re: The next workshop!
Fine for me too.
Is it possible to add an update to the poll with specific dates on or would it need a new poll? Regards to all Onewatt

Re: The next workshop!
Oops!
Ok, back to the Drawing board! Any objections to a Bank Holiday workshop? (subject to availability?)

Re: The next workshop!
Which day, or were you planning a 48hr all nighter?
I think Chris is right, it might be an idea to start again with the poll. Rob.

Re: The next workshop!
Yes I think a new thread with a new poll for the suggested dates (when you are available and that don't clash with any other major vintage radio events) is the best approach. Note in the poll any that are bank holidays.

Re: The next workshop!
Agreed - got to go to work now, but will get this sorted later.
Thus far we are looking at Cottered, same format, with a buffet, with a May/June bias in dates. Will post the final poll this evening. Sean

Re: The next workshop!
I'm tempted but the only spare weekends I have are the last one in May and first one in June.

Re: The next workshop!
When you have done so please post a link to it here and then we can close this thread to keep the discussions in one place (avoids confusion).
