Default South gloucestershire radio rally

I note this event in the rally listings as being next Sunday (3rd Apr). Have any forum members attended this event in previous years, I wonder ?

I'm asking this as I'd be interested to know how many 'boot' sellers were in attendance.

Hello Al

their site says:-

close to the cross-over of the M4 and M5 Motorways at the Avon Scouts Activity Centre, Fernhill, Almondsbury, BS32 4LX

Ring any bells ?

The South Gloucester Radio Rally is located close to the M5/M4 junction, there's location information here. It's usually well signed and easy to find.

I've been to this rally for the last 2 years and plan to go again next weekend. Last year (iirc) there were somewhere around ten to a dozen "boot" sellers plus several more individuals & clubs selling at the tables.

No; I was thinking of some other event. But thanks anyway.

Thanks for your replies, Al & Hugh.
It's a bit of a long treck from Maidstone, so will decide if going the day before.

Pete,

It is indeed a long trek and (without wishing to do the event an injustice or put you off) it's probably worth pointing out that it's on the smaller side as rallies go. Smaller, for instance, than the Newbury rally/boot fair.
