Default Led id

Having unearthed a packet of 200+ of these from an obscure corner of the workshop, I recalled buying them on scrap boards for the princely sum of £5, which was a very good bargain in 1973.
I wonder if any of our LED afficianados can identify the make and/or type ?
The emitted light is very deep red, the base metal bit seems to be black anodised brass, and the yellow dot denotes the cathode. Tony.

Thanks for the quick reply al.
I looked at the data sheet for that one, and it seems to be the one. Cheers, Tony.
