Fluke already have - and defended their colour scheme, ordering seizure of lookalikes. But they were very gracious over a bulk shipment intended for hobbyists - see here.

Interesting - maybe that's why my lad's meter from CPC has an orange outer case rather than yellow. Although the meter I purchased for myself from CPC about 5 years ago looks more yellow than orange.

I had a cheap supermarket meter from Aldi that cost a fiver, one issue was it would read UK mains at 50V when its PP3 was low. It got binned, lethal Chinese junk.
