Default Marconi TF2019 display

Hi
I have acquired a TF 2019 and it has a frequency display problem. The LCD driver voltages waveforms all seem correct but after entry of a few digits (correctly displayed) the display is all lit up 88888888 (with all labels as well). RF is as per keyed in so it is display fault. It takes about 10 segments lit before the other segments are part lit, and eventually everything lights up.
I suspect the LCD 80 pin module and are looking for a replacement (or a complete AD11 board) from an unservicable TF 2019 or 2018. Any one able to help?
