How about the 12"-20" Teleton VX models with a metal cabinet, very odd American/Toshiba compactron valves and the PAL S decoder. They were reliable and performed very well. John.

...unlike the equally obscure 11" Kuba Porta-Color (Granada Colourette) which had a PAL-S decoder and never gave a reasonable picture.

I used to sell those Rigonda and Vega sets they were popular with lorry drivers etc, i was never that impressed by them.

I also had a drawer full of the weird lopts and another drawer full of the equally weird orange line output transistors.
Wish i had kept one of the vega's back for myself now !

I got my Rigonda TV back in the 70's by collecting vouchers from Kellogs Corn Flakes packets! It was the cream version and worked well. Eventually it got used as a monitor for my first computer (Nascom 1). Happy memories...
