Parker Pen Refill Recycle Probe
I hate throwing things away, already used one of these as trimmer tool for a brass radio trimmer slug, today I found a couple of used refills in recycling my wife had thrown out, ever the Scrooge I thought they would make a nice tactile probe, using a cable clip masonry nail and a bit of rubber tubing, I set to work
First remove the ball and holder, clean out any old ink left with hot water, then force fit pointed end of nail, then grind head to a point, slide on rubber pipe and you have a useful tool. John |

Re: Parker Pen Refill Recycle Probe
I retrieved a ballpoint pen from the bin and used it for the probe on my Velleman signal generator!
I'm not tight, just careful!

Re: Parker Pen Refill Recycle Probe
Mk2 if you cut the shank further up and give it a light squeeze with pliers to make a oblong profile,it is suitable for larger profile brass trimmers, and being steel is very robust will not open up and round off trimmer.
