Do you mean the plastic cabinet of the machine, or the manufacturer's packing material?

Sorry, can't help with that. I don't think there will be many left in existence!

Yes, of course Ben. I've been looking for it for a long time and a few weeks ago I got one in the UK on ebay, but very deteriorated. Attachment send photo of my box.

Wishing you luck with the search, that's one I don't remember seeing. I think I still have a boxed EL3302 tucked away somewhere, but the box style is completely different, colour mainly orangey-brown if I remember correctly.

I have just got my box out, unfortunately it is in identical condition to the one above.

I'm just wondering if there would have been end flaps on there? To me it looks like a sleeve that would go over a moulded polystyrene container which housed the recorder and accessories. I could well be wrong though because they were before my time.

I never saw a EL3300 or 3301 in the flesh, but the packaging of the EL3302 changed over the time to reflect changes in the accessories. My EL3302 bought in 1969, came with a black fibre carry case with a side pocket for the mike, which had an integral on/off switch. The mike of one a friend had bought the previous year had a detachable on/off switch. The one I bought a few years later came with a narrower carry case that only held the recorder, and was packed in a correspondingly-smaller box. I don't remember what the boxes were like.

This got me thinking, maybe it was a sleeve, but mine has one end, unsure about the other end. Strange our two boxes are in nearly identical condition.

Hello John, perfect. With your photo I can rebuild the flaps, I belive that the two big flaps are identical for the remains that were left in the box.

Thank

Hello, restoration finished. It is not a professional restoration but for me it is fine.
